Film buffs, cinema-lovers and supporters of the arts community know that one of the perks of living in/near Cleveland is the annual Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF). In its 37th year, the festival has grown to encompass over 178 films, over 164 short films and covers 11 days at Tower City Cinemas, 230 West Huron Rd. This year’s festival is bigger and better than ever – with something for everyone – comedy, drama, mystery, documentaries, animation and so much more. Kids and adults alike enjoy the full-length films and the series of “shorts”. CIFF draws an audience from local areas such as Westlake, Rocky River, Avon, Shaker Heights, Beachwood, Lyndhurst, plus national and international locales.
Opening Night for CIFF is Wednesday, April 3rd. The festival runs through Sunday, April 14th.
